Paul Le Mottee
Managing Director

Paul first gained experience in Surveying and Town Planning over 35 years ago before starting his own company in 1991. Over the years he has gained invaluable knowledge and experience dealing with council legislation, statutory authorities, government agencies, consultants and various other professional bodies.
The company’s main goal is that of building successful long-term relationships with clients based on the quality of our work. Paul leads by example as he heads up our team of highly skilled professionals. He has mentored many over the years, and continues to stay at the forefront by being respected by his peers, and actively involved in associations and governing bodies related to the disciplines on offer at Le Mottee Group.
Paul is affectionately known as the ‘Book of knowledge’ in our office.
Adam McCaull
Survey Manager
B.Surv (Hon), Registered Land Surveyor, Member of the Institute of Surveyors (M.I.S)
Adam first joined Le Mottee Group as a student whilst completing his Surveying degree. He has been with Le Mottee Group since graduating in 2002 and has seen it evolve from a small surveying firm to the multi-disciplinary business it is today.
Heading up our surveying team, Adam has extensive experience and a wealth of knowledge with all facets of topographic, cadastral, engineering and construction surveys. He is a specialist in all aspects of Torrens, Strata, and Community Title subdivisions.
It was the love of the outdoors that attracted Adam to this profession, and he still has a passion for surfing and camping, and can be found volunteering his time as a Surf Life Saver during the Summer months.
Nicole Gerrard
Planning Manager
Bachelor of Environmental Science, Master of Environmental Law
Nicole first joined Le Mottee Group in 2011 after many years of dedicating herself to studying and working in the environmental field. It was during this time that Nicole discovered her passion for Town Planning gaining invaluable experience working on a range of projects alongside Le Mottee Group’s team of professionals. After a hiatus from LMG to focus on raising her family, Nicole has slotted back in like she never left. With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, Nicole continues to enjoy the challenges and diverse nature of town planning.
Nicole has extensive experience in the evaluation of development potential, and a strong track record in achieving approvals for a variety of projects including land and strata subdivisions, rezoning and change of use, residential, commercial, and industrial construction applications, and complex mixed-use developments.
Interpreting legislation is a real strong suit for Nicole, and she is passionate about developing and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring the best outcome for their project.
Craig Williamson
Senior Registered Surveyor
B.Surv, Registered Land Surveyor, Member of the Institute of Surveyors (M.I.S)
Craig joined the team in 2013 and has over 25 hands on years experience with demonstrated achievements in land and property surveying.
Working along side Engineers, Town Planners, Architects and other industry professionals, Craig has worked in all facets of surveying. Although Craig is mostly office bound these days, he still enjoys getting out of the office and back to his grass roots in the field.
Mark Brewer
Senior Survey Technician
Diploma in Surveying
After completing his Diploma in Surveying, Mark spent the next 9 years in the surveying industry in Sydney working on projects such as Home bush Olympic Village and the Electrification of the South Coast railway line.
After moving to Port Stephens, Mark used his leadership skills and knowledge of the construction industry to become a leading hand on large scale infrastructure projects in the Hunter. Mark re-entered the surveying industry by joining our team in 2012. His love of the outdoors often sees him camping and climbing mountains to take in the beautiful landscapes this great country offers.
Steve Beatty
Engineering Manager
BEng (Civil), NSW Professional Registered Engineer, Accredited Sewer & Water Reticulation Designer
Steve heads up our Civil Engineering department with over 25 years experience and knowledge in the industry. Steve has the technical expertise and knowledge to ensure that the things you build satisfy council requirements and comply with the accepted standards of engineering practice.
Helping you put together the nuts and bolts of your development is what he does best. Be it a detailed design for earthworks, stormwater drainage, design of your driveway or major roads, Steve prides himself on promptly delivering your plan, report or advice with the expertise and enthusiasm your engineering project deserves.
Brett Cooper
Graduate Civil Engineer
B.Engineering (Hons) (Civil)
Brett was offered a position with LMG after completing his University work placement with us. Besides being a great fit for our team, his strong interest in design, and analytical way of thinking are some of Brett’s standout qualities.
Being a country boy, Brett loves a good motorbike ride along with a BBQ, and playing cricket during the Summer season.
Liam Davis
Town Planner
Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management
The world of Town Planning is the perfect fit for Liam. Starting with us as an assistant Town Planner on a part-time basis, Liam has continued to evolve in this discipline and has progressed into a fulltime role as Town Planner. His strong interest in the built and natural environment, research and analysis skills, and ability to produce detailed work are ideal qualities for this role.
Kylie Gore
Office Manager
Diploma in Business Management, Cert IV in Frontline Management, Cert II in accounting
Prior to joining our team, Kylie conducted her own successful book keeping business for 11 years servicing an array of various clients, including Le Mottee Group. Accounts, WHS and compliance, human resources, payroll, marketing and advertising are Kylie’s key responsibilities along with supporting all staff in their various disciplines.
Outside of the office, life is busy with two active teenagers, and spending time with family and friends is of the highest importance for Kylie. Her favourite quote is befitting of this sentiment. “Time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters”.
Sharon Mortimer
Administration Assistant
Cert III in Business Administration
Sharon is our administration guru. Her role is an extremely important one; she is the voice and face of Le Mottee Group and assists our planning, surveying and engineering teams’ and provides administrative support to all other members of staff.
With years of previous experience in Real Estate, reception and administration, she has adapted very quickly to understanding the diverse services Le Mottee Group provides.
