Paul Le Mottee
Managing Director
Accredited Strata Certifier, Vice President Housing Industry Australia (HIA), Director of Assoc.of Accredited Certifiers (AAC), Member of Country Surveyors Assoc. & Planning Institute of Australia
Paul first started in this industry over 30 years ago alongside his mentor Keith Budnick before starting his own company in 1991.
Over the years he has gained invaluable knowledge and experience dealing with council legislation, statutory authorities, government agencies, consultants and various other professional bodies related to this industry.
In 2011 he became an Accredited Strata Certifier, adding another valuable service that LMG can assist you with, and is affectionately known as the ‘Book of knowledge’ in our office.
Adam McCaull
Survey Manager
B.Surv (Hon), Registered Land Surveyor, Member of the Institute of Surveyors (M.I.S)
Adam joined Le Mottee Group in 1999 whilst studying surveying at the University of Newcastle, graduating in 2002. In 2009 Adam undertook his final BOSSI exams to become a Registered Surveyor.
Heading up a large surveying team, Adam is also an integral member of our planning team. Adam has extensive experience with all facets of land surveying, subdivisions, Torrens, Strata and Community titling, and various dealings.
Kate Wheeler
Town Planning Manager
B.Arch, Master of Urban and Regional Planning
Having completed her Masters in Urban and Regional Planning, Kate also has qualifications and experience in the design industry.
Kate discovered her passion for town planning whilst studying and working in the field of Architecture. She enjoys the challenges and diverse nature of planning as legislation is forever changing.
Hugh Jones
Senior Town Planner
Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (BURP), Cert IV Proj Mgt Prac, PIA (Assoc.)
Hugh started his Town Planning career as a Cadet Planner with Council and joined the LMG planning team in 2017. In this time he continued on with, and completed his degree in Urban and Regional Planning, along with gaining his Cert IV in Project Management. Hugh’s position is extremely diverse and his wealth of knowledge of current planning legislation and resourcefulness is a true asset to our team.
Craig Williamson
Registered Surveyor
B.Surv, Registered Land Surveyor, Member of the Institute of Surveyors (M.I.S)
Craig joined our team in 2013 and it was in this year he became our second Registered Surveyor. Craig now has over 20 years experience in surveying and still enjoys getting out of the office and back to his grass roots in the field.
Guy Robertson
Registered Surveyor
BEng (Hons) (Surv), Registered Land Surveyor, Member of the Institute of Surveyors (M.I.S)
Guy first joined the team in 2012, working on a part-time basis as a trainee while he completed his studies. Life then took Guy and his partner overseas to England where he continued working in his craft. He returned to Australia in 2018 with the hope to reunite with Le Mottee Group, and lucky for Guy, we liked him enough to welcome him back on board.
Having now completed his path to Registration, Guy has become our third Registered Surveyor.
Mark Brewer
Survey Technician
Diploma in Surveying
After completing his Diploma in Surveying, Mark spent the next 9 years in the surveying industry in Sydney working on projects such as Home bush Olympic Village and the Electrification of the South Coast railway line.
After moving to Port Stephens, Mark used his leadership skills and knowledge of the construction industry to become a leading hand on large scale infrastructure projects in the Hunter. Mark re-entered the surveying industry by joining our team in 2012.
Steve Beatty
Civil Engineer
B.Engineering (Civil), Accredited Hunter Water Sewer & Water Reticulation Designer
Bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and more than 20 years’ experience in engineering and drafting, Steve was the ideal candidate to fill the position of Civil Engineer. His skill in this area has allowed Le Mottee Group to offer all the crucial services under the one roof for our clients looking to develop their land or add to their portfolio.
Paul Matthews
Draftsperson
Cert. Land & Engineering Survey Drafting. Sewer, Storm water & Road Design
Paul is a welcomed addition to Le Mottee Group bringing a long history of survey drafting to our team. This means less time in the office for our survey technicians and an even faster turn around for our clients. Paul is also providing adept support to Steve, our civil engineer, with sewer, storm water and road design.
Sharon Mortimer
Administration Assistant
Cert III in Business Administration, Member of Port Stephens Toastmasters and Communicators
Sharon is the newest member to our team. Her role is an extremely important one; she is the voice and face of Le Mottee Group and assists our planning and engineering teams’ and provides administrative support to all other members of staff. With years of previous experience Real Estate, reception and administration, she has adapted very quickly to understanding the diverse services Le Mottee Group provides.
Kylie Gore
Office Administrator
Diploma in Business Management, Cert IV in Frontline Management, Cert II in accounting
Prior to joining our team, Kylie conducted her own successful book keeping business for 11 years servicing an array of various clients, including Le Mottee Group.
When a position became available at LMG in administration, Kylie decided it was time to take on a 9 to 5 role which suited raising her young family and continue growing her skills in accounts, WHS and compliance, human resources and payroll, marketing and advertising.
